KPMG’s Olafia Kristinsdottir is the first ever Icelandic professional golfer on the LPGA Tour. She graduated from Wake Forest University in 2014 with a degree in Economics and was second on the team in scoring average as a sophomore and junior. She also had the 14th lowest scoring average in the ACC in 2011-12. Olafia then went on to play in seven events on the Ladies European Tour (LET) in 2016, finishing 96th on the Order of Merit and finally earning her tour card at the LPGA Qualifying Tournament in December of 2017.

Watch our interview with Olafia below to hear what she has to say about growing up playing golf in Iceland, playing collegiate golf at Wake Forest, and why she thinks more women should play the game.
