“Christie and I are incredibly grateful our members put their trust in us to lead our beautiful organization. I look forward to carrying on the legacy of our highest office with integrity and openness,” expressed Ball. “I am appreciative of my predecessors and the way these women were able to grow our organization, and I look forward to getting to work so we can continue to move the LPGA Professionals in a positive direction. On January 2025, I look forward to starting some of our campaign platform initiatives, which include increasing our strength in the industry to grow membership and attract sponsors, elevating the LPGA Professionals brand and credibility, building a stronger connection between all sections globally, and influencing the LPGA and Foundation Boards as we give voice to our members.”
In her role, Ball will represent LPGA Professionals members on the LPGA Board of Directors, replacing Marvol Barnard, whose term expires at the end of the year, and helping to advance the organization’s vision and growth strategy. She will replace Ball, whose term as Vice President expires at the end of 2024.
“I would like to thank Marvol Barnard for her years of leadership and service to LPGA,” said LPGA Commissioner Mollie Marcoux Samaan. “From running the LPGA*USGA Girls Golf program in Arizona to introducing confident businesswomen to the game, to her contributions in the board room, she has been an inspiration to all of us and her fellow LPGA Professionals. I also want to congratulate our newest LPGA Professionals President and Vice President, Louise Ball and Christie Quinn. Thank you for your dedication to serving your fellow professionals in these leadership roles. It’s an honor to have you on the LPGA and LPGA Foundation Boards and we look forward to working closely with you to achieve our collective goals of growth and impact. In addition, I want to thank our other candidates, Ashaunta Epps and Dr. Alison Curdt, for their hard work, passion, and commitment to serving the LPGA and their fellow members.
