I was so lucky to be invited to play in the PING Junior Solheim Cup in Gleneagles, Scotland. This has been one of the most unforgettable weeks of my life.

We arrived as a team on Friday, September 6th and had three practice rounds prior to the start of the event. My foursomes partner, Alexa Pano, and I lost 4 and 3. We didn’t play our best but it was so much fun playing alternate shot with one of my best friends.

Later that same day, I played fourball with Brianna Chacon. We won 3 and 2. Then, the next day, I played my singles match and won 3 and 1.

Gleneagles has been so hospitable, providing food, locker room space and bag storage for the week. The course was in amazing shape and we all had so much fun playing at such an iconic place.

The atmosphere of the tournament was something I never would have expected. There were crowds on every hole cheering for both team USA and Europe. It was an honor to be here with the best junior golfers in the world.

It was definitely the best week of junior girls’ golf I have ever experienced. I’ve grown so close with all my teammates and I know that we will always have each other’s backs. I knew a lot of them but we weren’t really that close until this week. Now we are. I am so grateful for them.

Gleneagles is such an incredible place. Everywhere you look there are amazing views. Also, getting a chance to share a venue with the professionals playing in the Solheim Cup, and getting to meet Captain Juli Inkster and her team was so special. They were all kind and welcoming. They are truly role models and have taught us how to be role models to others who look up to us.

Being able to say that I have represented team USA is a huge honor. I have truly been an unforgettable experience.
