Did you know, women are one of the fastest growing demographics in golf but still only make up 28% of the golfing population, while girls under 18 represent only 38% of junior golfers. We’re on a mission to help more women discover the game through #inviteHER.
The @LPGA is officially launching LPGA #inviteHER Golf Month, an initiative that encourages golfers of all ages to invite the women in their lives to join them for an intimidation-free experience with golf. Know someone curious about the game? Bring a friend, a young girl or a newbie interested in playing the game for one day. Tag her and we’ll help her get started with one of the many initiatives that the @LPGA has planned during the month of July!

A nationwide movement aimed at introducing & reconnecting women to the game of golf through a simple, yet often overlooked, tool—a personal invitation. Whether you are an LPGA Professional, an LPGA Amateur Golf Association member, someone who has never played, or someone who has stepped away from the game and is now ready to come back YOU are invited to join in the fun! And we’re inviting YOU to invite HER to this wonderful game!
LPGA Professionals Virtual Pro-Am
The LPGA Professionals Virtual Pro-Am – One LPGA Professional and 3 Amateurs will team up to play a 4-person scramble at any par 72 course of their choosing during the tournament dates. Teams will compete against teams from all over the US to compete for bragging rights and prizes. Proceeds from the event go to the LPGA Foundation to support LPGA Professionals members to continue their golf education and leadership.
LPGA*USGA Girls Golf Bring a Friend Day
A national initiative aimed at bringing more girls to the game of golf. Girls Golf sites across the country have the chance to host an official Bring a Friend Day with the support of LPGA*USGA Girls Golf! Girls Golf members will bring a newbie to be exposed to the game for one day and just try it out. The event can be big or small.
LPGA*USGA Girls Golf Experience Days
A one-day event that allows prospective and current Girls Golf Site Directors the opportunity to experience what it’s like to run a Girls Golf site with the support of LPGA*USGA Girls Golf! As hosts, they will have the great opportunity to introduce girls in their area to golf by hosting this fun and engaging ENRICH themed clinic. Girls will get to experience golf through putting, chipping, full swing , wind down with a fun craft and amazing gifts!
