As a quick, on-the-go healthy snack, smoothies can help provide necessary nutrients, hydration, and energy before you play golf and help you recover and satisfy your hunger after your round. When you have control of the ingredients by making them yourself, you can create a nutritious and delicious drink that contains protein, carbohydrates, and electrolytes from whole food ingredients.
Here are some of my favorite fruit smoothies. Of course, you can always add some vegetables, nuts, and seeds for added nutrients. Don’t be afraid to add your favorite protein powder to any smoothie for an extra boost of protein either.
I like my smoothies creamy and fruity. How do you like yours? Leave your favorite smoothie combination in the comments.
