Girls Golf Experience Days are an annual campaign by LPGA*USGA Girls Golf in a two-fold effort to simultaneously introduce girls ages 6-16 to the game of game as well as give prospective Girls Golf Site Directors a chance to try an event out for themselves through a day of putting, chipping and full-swing activities as well as a fun craft.

With the help of ClubCorp, Girls Golf Experience Days presented by Zinus were expanded across 22 states, hosting 108 events, and reaching 1,940 participants. While Girls Golf Experience Days are typically hosted by prospective Girls Golf Site Directors, this year’s October 18th event was expanded to welcome current Site Directors as well as an additional clinic idea and an opportunity to grow the membership of their own sites. In addition to the 41 events hosted independently across the US and Canada, and the 1,140 participants taught by First Tee chapters, PGA Professionals, and LPGA Professionals, the 2021 Girls Golf Experience Days introduced over 3,000 girls to the game. This year’s Girls Golf Experience Days presented by Zinus provided Harmony-themed co-branded toolkits to allow hosts to put on a fun-filled event while representing the 5Es of Girls Golf—Enrich, Engage, Exercise, Energize, and Empower.

“ClubCorp was thrilled to partner with the LPGA to host the LPGA*USGA Girls Golf Experience Days across our portfolio,” said Mark Gore, ClubCorp’s Senior Vice President of Golf Operations. “The Girls Golf Experience Days is an energizing opportunity for our Clubs to engage girls to sharpen their golf skills and develop their life skills. Our Clubs cultivated a safe space where girls can learn, have fun, and dream their way through the day. LPGA*USGA Girls Golf is a win for ClubCorp!”

“A HUGE thank you to Zinus, Club Corp and the PGA and LPGA Professionals who raised their hand and said ‘YES’ to empowering and inspiring girls through the game of golf,” commented Nancy Henderson President of the LPGA Foundation. “These amazing LPGA*USGA Girls Golf Experience Day would not be possible without the support of our like-minded partners who believe that golf has the power to transform lives.”
