The U.S. Open is by far my favorite event of the year. There is something special about playing in your country’s national championship. With just one step onto tournament property, you get that instant adrenaline rush through your body.

This year’s event was hosted in Bedminister, New Jersey and is the third U.S. Women’s Open I have competed in. This one week will both mentally and physically challenge each player due to the demanding conditions that a U.S. Open traditionally brings. It is a true test for every player in the field.

This year I captured a few moments to share with you all that will give you an inside look at things that go on in preparation for a major championship on the LPGA tour.
