The LPGA Amateur Golf Association, made up of nearly 16,000 female players, recently launched the LPGA Amateurs Virtual Community to better connect its network of members. This online space is powered by the Breezio platform and is seamlessly integrated with the Member Clubhouse, enhancing the overall member experience.

The new Virtual Community aims to be a game-changer for LPGA Amateur’s members, providing an interactive platform for women to engage, collaborate and cultivate their passion for the sport and for the LPGA. Members must subscribe to unlock the value and many benefits the platform has to offer:

  • Provides an enhanced directory for the all-member community made up of more than 130 local chapters
  • Creates a space for women from diverse backgrounds and skill levels to engage in discussions, share experiences, and offer support, thereby facilitating their learning and enjoyment of golf.
  • Access an exclusive library of instructional content led by LPGA Professionals and industry leaders that includes a beginner lesson series, swing tips, practice programs, and more!
  • Increase playing opportunities by finding the right playing partner
  • Gives chapter leaders a place to exchange ideas and best practices for their local members

The Virtual Community’s technology brings all members together without having to rely on social media platforms and opens opportunities to work together on programs and events with new groups. “We’re delighted to collaborate with LPGA Amateur Golf Association in bringing an integrated virtual community to life, not only to provide a space for members to engage and connect but also to be an instrumental tool in reinforcing the association’s mission,” said Ben Musolino, CEO of Breezio.

“The Virtual Community allows us to advance our mission by connecting women of all abilities to learn, play, and enjoy golf, while delivering benefits and unparalleled value to further serve our vibrant community,” shared Mary-Lee Cobick, Senior Vice President of the LPGA Foundation.

Many members are already finding great value after using this new online resource.  One member was looking for advice on how to putt with bifocals, and instantly received a lot of comments offering many different perspectives. Players also value regular interaction with members outside of their local chapter.  “I love my chapter, but I also love participating in events like the Scramble Open to meet people from other chapters. The virtual community provides that interaction more than just one weekend a year,” stated Ami Bradwell, LPGA Amateurs, Des Moines Chapter.

Members also appreciate the enhanced communication capabilities of the site to foster connections between groups. “The Virtual Community offers the perfect way to communicate through all levels of LPGA Amateurs Golf Association, exclaimed Teresa Patek, LPGA Amateurs, Atlanta Chapter. “We now have a comprehensive platform to support our chapter members, share ideas with other leaders, and gain understanding from our contacts at the national level.  A win-win-win for all of us!”

The platform’s real-time content availability also creates many great opportunities. “We have held training sessions to help our members understand the many benefits of the Virtual Community,” said Patty Evans, LPGA Amateurs, Northern Nevada Chapter. “Going forward, I am especially interested in creating content in our community that will help our new members understand how we do things so they can be comfortable showing up at their first event confident in the knowledge of where to go and what to do. The possibilities are endless for building a vibrant community that is engaged and keeps our chapter going and growing strong.”

The LPGA Amateurs offers two levels of membership, a Chapter membership and a Virtual Community Membership, both receive the benefit of the Virtual Community. You can learn and connect with likeminded golfers on the Virtual Community with the Virtual Membership for only $49.99 per year.
