The North Berwick West Links gave me the full Scottish-Links experience. A beautiful course set on the North Sea coast. The wind was fantastic at your back and gave me the drives of a lifetime. Into the wind…. not so good!

And the day ended with a sampling of the local Scotch. Slainte!
Thursday – Gullane No. 1
We spent Thursday at Gullane No. 1 golf course, host of the 2018 Scottish Open and Ladies Scottish Open. The history of this course is fascinating including the hills being used in the late 1800’s to train and exercise race horses. It was an enjoyable round with playing partners Janie, Pat, and Barbara and our two local caddies Danny and Paul.
