Our second Woman of Strength, Deb Vangellow, has made a name for herself in the golf industry with a career spanning more than 25 years. She is consistently recognized as one of the best teachers in the country due to her “student centered” approach and focus on wellness-based developmental programming. Vangellow left her mark on the LPGA through her tenures as the first National Vice President and then National President of LPGA Professionals, the largest female golf professionals group in the world.
After experiencing the life-changing event of a near-deadly stroke, Vangellow persevered with resilience and strength. Since then, she has channeled this experience into a golf teaching career with female athletes, showing them that no challenge is too great.
