Our final Woman of Strength, Stephanie Peareth, won’t let anything stop her from living life to the fullest and making an impact on the next generation of girls. After experiencing an incurable brain condition that shattered her LPGA Tour dreams, Peareth found a new purpose through LPGA*USGA Girls Golf. The national program provides girl-friendly environments for juniors to learn the game of golf and valuable life skills. After seeing the power that this program holds, Peareth created her own chapter in Miami back in 2015. In just eight years, that site is now one of the largest Girls Golf chapters in the LPGA, empowering young athletes to follow their dreams.
Peareth chooses to lead with light every day, focusing on positivity despite her diagnosis. This amazing outlook has rubbed off on each of the 300 girls at her site. With so many lives changed on the local level, Peareth wanted to do more with her vision. Well, luckily for her and the thousands of girls across the country, she got that chance when she was recently hired by the LPGA Foundation to lead the program as the Director of Operations. Peareth immediately hit the ground running to create a national eLeader Board of Directors where established Girls Golf members provide input and help lead the future of the program. She is also working to empower all site directors to make the most of their chapters.
There are countless ways to describe Stephanie Peareth, but the most fitting are role model, life changer and a woman of the LPGA – and she is a Woman of STRENGTH.
Steph and the 2023 Women of Strength wear their strength proudly with The STRENGTH Bracelet. As a second generation jewelry designer and the granddaughter of Holocaust survivors, Freida wanted to use her platform to share the stories of inspiring women through design in a meaningful way.
